The 2011 study is the first study to support a general assessment of stability for the CORESTA Reference Products (CRPs). Additional study objectives were: to provide more robust data using the new or updated CRMs; to support laboratory operations; and to provide data for an interlaboratory comparison of results. The 2011 study is intended to serve as the baseline for the determination of stability.

Unlike the 2011 study, methods were not specified in the 2010 study. For this reason, the 2010 results are not compared to the 2011 results as a measure of product stability.
