Ultrasonic aided extraction of chlorogenic acid, nicotine and solanesol in tobacco
Southern Yangtse University, Wuxi, Jiangsu, China
Ultrasonic aided extraction of chlorogenic acid, nicotine and solanesol in tobacco was investigated. The optimum conditions were: pH 4, 95% ethanol as solvent, the ratio of material to liquor 1:15, extracting twice at 80° (each for 45 min). The experimental yield of chlorogenic acid, nicotine and solanesol was 93.65%, 95.42% and 82.35%, respectively, which were much better than the yield by hot refluxing extraction (85.56%, 84.79% and 73.54%, respectively).
