In order to select simple, reliable, effective, practical method of tobacco seed vigour-testing, three methods: germinating trial, seedling length measuring and extractive solution conductivity determining were tested, and their correlation were analyzed. The testing results of three methods were identical, namely the seed vigour of batch A1 > that of A2 > that of A3. Germinating viability positively correlated with seedling length and negatively correlated with conductivity value, there was negative correlation between seedling length and conductivity value.
