The CORESTA Routine Analytical Chemistry (RAC) Sub-Group organized a collaborative study of the CORESTA Monitor 6 (CM6) test piece. Seven parameters measured on the CM6 were included in the study: (1) weight after conditioning; (2) total particulate matter or TPM; (3) water, nicotine; (4) nicotine-free dry particulate matter (NFDPM); (5) carbon monoxide (CO); and (7) puff count. CM6 samples were generated under the mainstream ‘ISO’ and ‘Intense’ Smoking regime parameters.
